New paintings that I have been working on over the summer will be on show at the Affordable Art Fair, London , where I am represented by the Sarah Wiseman Gallery, Oxford .
This October at AAF, 110 galleries from across the UK and overseas will exhibit contemporary art under £3,000.

Upwey Exhibition This years exhibition at Upwey Old School will be from the 10 th to the 25 th August 2008 and will be the twenty first annual exhibition at Upwey. New subjects taken from the Dorset Coast will feature along side paintings made this year in Cornwall . A selection of new paintings will be shown at this years Glasgow Art Fair where I will be represented by Sarah Wiseman Gallery, Oxford.
Now established as the UK's most prestigious contemporary art fair outside of London and in it's 13th year. Scotland's National Art Fair returns to the heart of Glasgow's city centre and will exhibit work by over 1000 artists and include showcase a record 46 selected galleries from Scotland.
This year's Fair will feature the largest ever selection of galleries including many international galleries. The range is magnificient with something to suit all tastes and budgets, whether your interest is in well known artists or emerging talents.
Featured artists include Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Joan Eardley, SJ Peploe, Leslie Hunter, John Byrne, Terry Frost, Craig Mullholland, Kenny Hunter, Damien Hirst, Tracy Emin, Banksy, Dalziel + Scullion and Rosalind Nashashibi.

After much work over the past few months I can announce the publication date of my book. Justin Cooke The Ridgeway will be launched at an exhibition at Upwey, Dorset on the 1 st of December 2007 . It is a 100 page hardback with over 56 illustrations of paintings inspired by the magnificent Landscape of the South Dorset Ridgeway. Just over a year in the making it represents a study of the landscape I have known well since childhood. Exhibitions of the paintings illustrated in the book will start with the Launch at Upwey and continue at the Alpha House Gallery, Sherborne and the Atrium Gallery, Bournemouth University, both in January 2008 and Sarah Wiseman Gallery, Oxford in February 2008. |

I am delighted to announce that I will be taking part in this year’s Bournemouth University Art Loan Collection. This is a twelve month exhibition for which eighteen selected artist loan work to the University for Exhibition.
I have chosen to exhibit a work called Ridgeway Field. This is the painting with which I won an award at the Royal West of England Academy last year.
A full colour catalogue is produced and is available at the university.
